About
Meredith Brand (formerly "Meredith White") is a nationally recognized speech-language pathologist with over 27 years of experience helping children and adults achieve real, lasting results.
Meredith holds Advanced Training and Expertise in Childhood Apraxia of Speech, as recognized by Apraxia Kids, and is a dedicated advocate for families navigating this challenging diagnosis. She’s served as both an annual sponsor and two-year coordinator of the Apraxia Walk of Atlanta, and is known for her thorough, research-based approach—having completed every major course and read every peer-reviewed study available on the subject. Meredith is a frequent guest lecturer at universities and national conferences, where she shares her expertise in apraxia and related speech sound disorders.
Certified in Orofacial Myology (COM®) by the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM) in 2015, Meredith began studying tongue thrust, tongue-tie, and oral-motor disorders as early as 2010. She has trained under the leading experts in the field, and continues to attend advanced seminars to stay on the cutting edge of myofunctional therapy. Her clinical work supports both children and adults, especially those dealing with feeding issues, airway concerns, or temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction.
Her personal journey with TMJ disorder led her to discover the powerful role of craniosacral therapy. What began as a search for her own healing quickly expanded into a broader clinical perspective—one that now integrates craniosacral therapy into treatment plans for clients managing pain, poor posture, and oral dysfunction. Meredith has trained extensively through the Upledger Institute and is proud to offer this gentle, holistic therapy to her clients.
Meredith’s approach is rooted in empathy, evidence, and deep clinical knowledge. Whether supporting a toddler with apraxia, a teen with a tongue tie, or an adult with jaw pain, she brings warmth, clarity, and commitment to every session.
Answers to Common Questions
FLEXIBLE SETTING
Options for In-person & teletherapy
For Speech, Apraxia, and Myofunctional therapy, we begin with an evaluation. No evaluation is needed for Craniosacral therapy.
HOW TO BEGIN
Speech, Apraxia, and Myofunctional sessions are typically 30 minutes, with Craniosacral Therapy being an hour.
SESSION LENGTH
INSURANCE
Because of her level of expertise,
Meredith is private pay.
HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE NECESSARY
Meredith does not take a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Each person is unique, and so is their treatment plan. The number of sessions needed depends on the individual’s specific challenges, level of involvement, and consistency with at-home practice.
For speech, myofunctional, and oral motor therapies, progress can vary greatly. Some individuals may see changes quickly, while others benefit from a longer-term approach to fully address the underlying issues.
For craniosacral therapy, a minimum of three sessions is recommended to allow the body time to respond and begin the healing process.
Meredith will always be transparent about progress and adjust your plan as needed—partnering with you to support lasting, meaningful change.

Kind Words
“This was SUCH a wonderful experience. Meredith was great with
my son and was able to pinpoint exactly what he needed SO fast. We have seen many specialists to diagnose the causes of his speech issues and none have been as thorough as Meredith. I only wished we had found her sooner!””
“Meredith has been life-changing for my daughter! After trying many speech therapists over the state of GA for my daughter’s severe childhood apraxia of speech, Meredith was the only one who was able to quickly help my child become verbal! She is highly competent and caring - a rare combination! I cannot recommend her enough!”
